Elder Alaine Jackson

Elder Alaine Jackson, Co-Pastor

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."

A native of Glen Allen, Virginia, Elder Jackson is the oldest of two children born to Helen E. Harris and the late Charles E. Harris. She was educated in the Henrico County and Richmond City Public Schools. Elder Jackson accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the age of 7, and was baptized at the Cedar Street Memorial Baptist Church. She was also active in the Saint Peter Baptist Church, singing on the youth choirs and serving in the youth ministry.

She later attended Elizabeth City State University on a full scholarship for women's basketball and academics, serving as student government Vice President, Miss Kappa Alpha Psi, and Chaplain and student directress for the Gospel Choir.
Elder Jackson also served as chaplain of Delta Chi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Under her husband's former pastorates, Elder Jackson has served at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lanexa, Virginia, serving as choir directress, women's ministry leader and youth sponsor. At the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia,
Elder Jackson was licensed to preach the Gospel in April of 1998. She served under her husband's leadership as Youth Pastor, Praise team leader, Women's ministry co-chair, and visionary of the Youth Praise Dance team and choir directress.

While at Cornerstone,
Elder Jackson has served as Praise and Worship Leader, choir directress, founder of the praise Dance and Step Teams and Vacation Bible School Teacher. Presently, she serves as Women's Ministry chairperson, Adjutant Minister, Intercessory Prayer Leader, and Co-Executive Producer of the "Joy of the Lord" television broadcast which appears on a local television station. Elder Jackson is the co-founder of the "Joy of the Lord Ministries" of Spartanburg, and "Charles Jackson Ministries, LLC." She is also founder of Daughters of Excellence Mentorship Program designed to train young ladies ages 3 to 17 in the areas of etiquette and social skills as well as evangelism and outreach skills.

In the community,
Elder Jackson is Vice President of the Butterfly Foundation, and school volunteer. She and her husband also facilitate workshops and conferences for married couples, singles, men and women, to empower and promote holistic Christian living and growth. Gifted to write songs, plays and poems, Elder Jackson values her devotional time with the Lord and quality time with her family. She and her husband, Dr. Charles J.J. Jackson have been blessed with three children: Aleasha Chalayne, Charles Jalan Emmanuel, and Alexis Helene. As a wife and mother, Elder Jackson values a fervent and effectual prayer life and seeks the face of God, daily interceding for those who need prayer and deliverance. She strives to be the example of a virtuous woman before her husband, her children, and all who know her.
